Dede Kadiri.
Leadership Development Consultant
Nigeria
Dede Kadiri spent five years in legal practice before trading statutes for stories of change, moving into leadership development, coaching, and data analytics, work she has now done for more than 25 years.

In 2004, she joined UNDP’s Leadership Development Programme, working in conflict-affected countries as they rebuilt, supporting the continent-wide response to HIV/AIDS, and tackling difficult social and cultural challenges head on. She spent a decade coaching, training, and building capacity for thousands of people across 15 African countries.

Dede believes people are the secret ingredient in every result worth celebrating. She listens deeply and knows how to steer a conversation toward what someone is capable of, helping them discover their own brilliance and perform at their best, with results that show up across the organisations she works with. For the past decade, she has brought this approach to safety and culture transformation across oil, gas, mining, and construction, work she has done with Chevron, TotalEnergies, Nigeria LNG, Perseus Gold Mine Ghana, Toyo Construction (Japan), and Lafarge International, among others.

Today, she continues this work at the helm of her own practice, advancing safety leadership across Nigeria’s oil, gas, mining, and construction industries, helping people see new possibilities for themselves, their families, and their businesses.

Beyond boardrooms and hard hats, Dede loves to party and dance with friends, enjoys good food, gives her energy to charity work, and spends time with her family.

That’s Dede.
