About Us.

Why EnCircle?

Our Approach

Every organisation is a collection of circles, the living, shifting, overlapping circles of relationship that actually determine how it works. The senior leadership team. Each department. The trust between a manager and their team. The connections between functions, partners, clients.

These circles exist whether you see them or not. Whether they're healthy or not. Whether they're working for you or quietly against you.

Our work begins by making them visible, looking at who is connected to whom, with what quality of trust and conversation, where the circles are alive and where they're fractured or siloed. And then asking the question that changes everything:

How do you really want these circles to be?

The Whole Picture

Relationships don't exist in a vacuum.

They're shaped by the conditions around them, the structures, processes, skills, agreements, and systems that either enable or constrain what's possible.

We look at the whole. The inner world of the leader. The quality of relationships and culture. The structures and conditions that shape behaviour every day, often more powerfully than any leadership message.

We don't work on these levels in sequence. We work on them simultaneously, because organisations aren't machines, but a vast collection of interconnected relationships and systems.

Pull one thread and everything else moves.

What We Believe

Culture isn't what's written on the wall.

It's what happens in the circle, who we choose to be when we're in it together, how we treat each other under pressure, whether people feel safe enough to speak honestly.

We believe that when people truly flourish, safe, connected, purposeful, alive, the business flourishes too. Not as a consequence. As the same thing.

Human thriving and organisational performance, when the conditions are right, are exactly the same phenomenon.

Why Inner Work Matters

There is something that distinguishes the coaches and consultants who produce lasting change from those who don't.

It isn't their methodology or their credentials. It's whether they've done the work themselves, on the hard things, the sticky things, the moments where their own blind spots were the obstacle.

Everyone at Encircle has done that work. Is doing it. Will keep doing it.

We coach and consult from the inside out. Always.

The Lens We Bring

Most organisations spend the majority of their energy in the circle of concern, the wide outer ring of things they care about but cannot directly control. Markets, competition, regulation, uncertainty. Exhausting. And it changes very little.

Stephen Covey observed that highly effective people do something different. They bring their energy inward, to the circle of influence, where their actions and relationships can make a real difference. And further inward still, to the innermost circle, the only one they can truly control: themselves.

That's where our work begins. With the leader. With the quality of their inner world and their capacity to lead themselves. From that foundation, we move outward, into the culture, the relationships, the structures, working simultaneously at every level.

We don't arrive with answers about how to run your business. We arrive with questions, experience, and a quality of listening that helps people step onto the balcony, to see their organisation clearly. What's working. What isn't. What needs to shift. From that shared clarity, we bring what years of working across some of the world's most complex organisations has taught us about leadership, culture, and the conditions that allow people and business to flourish. We make recommendations.

We challenge assumptions. But the decisions always belong to the people we work with.

The Organisations We're Drawn To.

We work across sectors and scales, with global industrial projects, established organisations navigating transformation, and growing businesses where the culture you build now is the one you'll live with for years.

We are particularly drawn to purpose-led and values-driven organisations: B Corps, social enterprises, mission-driven businesses that believe how they treat their people is as important as what they produce. These organisations often feel the gap most acutely, because the values matter so much.

We are also drawn to scaling companies that have outgrown the founder's circle. There is a specific and very human moment in the life of almost every growing company, when the founding energy that held everything together stops being enough. When the culture needs to become conscious, not just felt. When leaders need to build something that can live beyond any one person.

That moment requires courage to name: sometimes the founder's way of operating, the very thing that built the company, can become a constraint on its growth. We help founders and leadership teams see clearly what they've actually created, and build something that can hold and grow beyond them.

That's what we help build. An organisation people are genuinely proud to be part of.
