Isabelle Courtney-Guy
Founder
Isabelle has been on a leadership journey for over 25 years, and coaching for more than twenty of them. It started in 2005 when, as a leader herself, she picked up a small book on coaching and something shifted. She hasn't stopped since.
Her work spans four worlds that most consultants choose between, and that breadth is what makes her practice distinctive.
The first is large-scale culture transformation in complex industrial environments: major capital projects, oil and gas, mining, refineries, where the stakes are high, the environments are demanding, and the gap between the culture on paper and the culture on the ground can cost lives. She has led programmes employing thousands of people across dozens of cultures and languages, in some of the most challenging locations on earth.
The second is leadership development, designing and delivering programmes for global organisations that want to build genuine leadership capability at every level. Not tick-box training. Programmes that shift something real.
The third is executive coaching, working 1:1 with senior leaders, entrepreneurs, founders, and people navigating pivotal moments in their careers. The kind of coaching that starts with what's actually happening and goes from there.
The fourth is coach training, developing coaches inside organisations and teaching the next generation of practitioners. She doesn't just coach. She builds coaching cultures.
In each world she brings the same quality of attention. She works closely with clients, bringing pristine listening to every conversation, in order to design programmes that cause breakthroughs and produce results that create pride and a legacy. She loves the work of bringing partnership and engagement to teams, supporting them in keeping vibrant and alive their shared vision, and challenging them to become the best leaders they can be.
Among the organisations she has worked with, examples from each stream:
In major capital projects and industrial environments: Shell, Chevron, TCO, JGC, GALP, Ericsson, among others.
In leadership development programmes and workshops: Maersk, Nokia, Ramboll, SMG, Xylem, among others.
In executive coaching: Frontier, DFDS, and many individual entrepreneurs, founders, and leaders in career transition, among others.
In coach training: Animas (as faculty), UPM, Baseware, EFG Bank, among others.
She is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management, a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, ICF PCC pending (MCC requirements met), and ORSC trained in Organisational and Relationship Systems Coaching. She works in English, French, Spanish, and German.
And right now she is navigating her own extraordinary leadership laboratory, coaching herself through a health journey with the same tools and the same honesty she brings to everyone she works with. She'll tell you it's the hardest and most clarifying thing she's ever done.

That's Isabelle.
